4 Week Reserach Project
Our program began as a research initiative, aiming to explore the benefits of dance movement meditation for young individuals. We focused on fostering trust, setting boundaries, and introducing this practice tailored to their needs. Through these sessions, our goal was to provide tools supporting mental well-being. Participants discovered their rhythm, connected with their bodies, and expressed themselves through movement, transcending barriers of fear and insecurity.
Throughout the project, check-ins, discussions, and reflections played a vital role in their self-development. Here are insights from our sessions:
Initially, 87% were unfamiliar with Dance Movement Meditation.
By the fourth session, 93% experienced a transformation in their understanding of both meditation and dance movement meditation.
81% adopted positive affirmations, nurturing self-reflection.
Participants found peace through breath and movement, with 80% experiencing a quieter mind.
88% felt liberated through self-expression, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Notably, 81% believed weekly engagement could significantly benefit their mental health, with 80% eager to participate again.
Our journey revealed a profound impact, empowering individuals to embrace self-expression, find stillness, and support their mental well-being. We're excited to extend this transformative experience to the community by offering comprehensive 6-week programs, tailored to foster self-discovery and holistic wellness for all.
